ELKHORN Metropolis, Ky. (WYMT) – A vehicle fireplace Tuesday has stories spreading about a nearby hero in Pike County.
When a loud explosion and revving engine caught the focus of Justin Quesenberry, he walked out of his residence to see a motor vehicle, nearing the edge of a hillside on Russell Street, engulfed in flames.
“I heard an motor revving up, vast open up, and then it went ‘boom’ when I read a massive explosion,” explained Quesenberry.
As neighbors collected about, they referred to as for support, waiting around for support but certain that whoever was in the automobile was lifeless, because they were being unable to see via the wall of smoke or get shut to the warmth.
“The windows were up for so prolonged, I just knew whoever was in there had suffocated,” stated Quesenberry.
Once the windows were being busted, on the other hand, a tunnel of air created its way through the front seat, exhibiting the driver to be alive.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the clinic, but officers say he is now recovering from house- something they say would not be achievable if not for their Russell Avenue rescuer.
